Bell Media Radio’s CHUM 104.5 has revealed the newest look and feel in Toronto’s pop music scene with a brand refresh of one of Toronto’s most iconic radio brands.
The live, on-air transformation from 104.5 CHUM FM to CHUM 104.5 will be complemented by the debut of a new visual identity which was revealed at Toronto’s 38th Annual Pride Parade on Sunday.
Parade-goers experienced the shift in the iconic brand on board the CHUM 104.5 Pride Parade float, which featured familiar on-air hosts and plenty of new surprises.
“We are proud and excited to bring a new energy to the CHUM brand that listeners have cherished for decades, while continuing to deliver the pre-eminent pop music and programming they love,” said Rob Farina, Head of Radio Content, Strategy, and iHeartRadio at Bell Media. “We’re celebrating this dynamic development together with our dedicated team of on-air hosts, producers, partners, advertisers, and most importantly our loyal listeners.”
“CHUM 104.5 will reflect the diversity and excitement of our city through the music we play, lively conversations we have, and by building unprecedented relationships with our listeners and advertisers,” said Sarah Cummings, Program Director, CHUM 104.5. “No matter where you are in Toronto or across Canada, CHUM 104.5, keeps you connected and entertained.”
