16 Emmy Awards for WUVG Univision Atlanta

ISH and Univision Settle Carriage Dispute

WUVG 34 Univision Atlanta received 16 Southeast Chapter Emmy® Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).

Univision Atlanta WUVG 34 took home Emmys® in several categories, including General Assignment Report (No Time Limit), Continuing Coverage, and Video Journalist for the station’s outstanding coverage of Hurricane María, led by Executive Producer/News Anchor Amanda Ramirez, throughout the storm’s passage across Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.

WUVG 34 was also honored for its News Excellence, Journalistic Enterprise –led by News Director Gianncarlo Cifuentes– and Overall Excellence, highlighting the station’s stellar team led by Eddy Elguezabal, Vice President and General Manager of Univision Atlanta.

The Southeast Chapter is one of 19 regional chapters of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences: the standard-bearers for excellence in the television broadcasting industry and the gatekeepers of the prestigious regional Emmy® Awards.
