KSWB-TV (FOX 5), Tribune Broadcasting’s San Diego television station continued to grow its viewership in the recently completed November sweep period.
FOX 5 finished with a first-place local news rank in key demos including Adults 25-54 & Adults 18-49 in AM News, Daytime News, 10PM News, Sports Final and Weekend News.

• FOX 5 Morning News is the Most-Watched local morning newscast from 6-7AM (M-F) with total Adults 18+ (17,500). Also, FOX 5 is the #1 news from 6-7AM (M-F) for 15-consecutive Nielsen Rating Books with Adults 25-54 & Adults 18-49, delivering a 0.9 RTG & a 0.8 RTG, respectively, in the Nov’18 book.
• FOX 5 News is also #1 from 5-6AM (M-F) for 5-consecutive Nielsen Rating Books with Adults 18-49, delivering a 0.4 RTG in the Nov’18 book. In Nov’18, FOX 5 is also ranked #1 with Adults 25-54 (0.5 RTG).
• From 7-9AM (M-F), FOX 5 Morning News ranks #1 with Adults 25-54 & Adults 18-49 for 12-consecutive Nielsen Rating Books, finishing Nov’18 with a 1.0 RTG with Adults 25-54 and a 0.8 RTG with Adults 18-49. Further, FOX 5 Morning News from 7-9AM grows year-to-year with Adults 25-54 (+43%) & Adults 18-49 (+60%).

• In the afternoon, FOX 5 is the #1 news from 4-5PM (M-F) for 3-consecutive November books with Men 25-54, posting a 0.4 RTG in Nov’18.

• At night, FOX 5 News is the #1 news at 10PM (M-F) for 3-consecutive November books with Adults 25-54 & Adults 18-49. In Nov’18, FOX 5 News at 10PM posted a 1.1 RTG with Adults 25-54 & a 0.7 RTG with Adults 18-49.
