Fox News Jason Ehrich as VP of Audience Development

Jason Ehrich has been named Executive Vice President of Audience Development and Strategic Partnerships at Fox News, announced Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media.

Ehrich previously served as the Executive Vice President of Marketing, On-Air Promotions, Audience Development and Social Media for the network and will transition to his new role effective immediately.

In this newly created position, Mr. Ehrich will oversee FNC’s digital partnership strategy with a focus on driving audience growth, maximising revenue streams, and developing business models. He will also continue to oversee the network’s social media and content distribution and will now run the e-commerce business known as Fox News Shop.

In the audience development and social media portion of his previous role, Mr. Ehrich helped build one of the largest and most engaged digital audiences in news. Most recently, he negotiated both the initial partnership between FOX News and Facebook for their Facebook Watch initiative, as well as the renewal of the platform’s signature program Fox News Update. He also developed key partnerships with Google and Instagram during the 2016 election cycle.

Jason Ehrich joined the network in 1998 as a viewer services writer and throughout his 21 year tenure, he has been promoted multiple times, occupying positions such as Senior Vice President of Social Media & Audience Development, Vice President of Social Media, Director of New Media and Manager of Community Marketing. A 1992 graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, Jason Ehrich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities.
