BBC News has further expanded its presence in Taiwan by making a selection of its Chinese-language news content available on the country’s leading news platform, EBC News.
The EBC website will offer high-impact stories (text and video) from BBC News Chinese every day.
Business Development Director, BBC World Service, Simon Kendall, welcomes the collaboration which is distinguished for its popularity among younger audiences: “We are delighted to be introducing BBC News Chinese content to new audiences in Taiwan through this exciting collaboration with EBC.”
EBC News is the flagship online news platform of multi-award winning broadcaster, Eastern Broadcasting Company, which also operates eight satellite TV channels in Taiwan.
