Coverage of the Winter League season’s most coveted tournament featuring teams from Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.
ESPN Deportes will provide coverage of the 2020 Caribbean Series from San Juan, Puerto Rico, starting today, February 1st.
Coverage begins at 9 a.m. ET with Colombia vs. Venezuela, followed by nine-time champion Mexico, facing the Dominican Republic, the country with the most championship wins (19), at 1:30 p.m. ET. The entire tournament will also be available on ESPN Deportes and via streaming on the ESPN App.
ESPN Deportes’ commentator lineup will feature Ernesto Jerez (play-by-play), Guillermo Celis, Orlando “El Duque” Hernandez and Luis Alfredo Álvarez on the analysis. ESPNDeportes.com’s Enrique Rojas and Jorge Morejón will cover from the site.
Since 1949, the Caribbean Series has crowned a champion nation. This year’s tournament will feature the best teams from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and for the first time, Colombia.
