NBC Sports’ coverage of the Premier League continues this weekend, headlined by Sergio Aguero and second-place Manchester City visiting Jamie Vardy and third-place Leicester City this Saturday, Feb. 22, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Universo.
Manchester City, with 51 points, and Leicester City, with 50, are currently separated by one point in the table as they battle for positioning behind first-place Liverpool (76 points). Manchester City defeated Leicester City, 3-1, in their last PL meeting on Dec. 21. Saturday’s match features the Premier League’s top two scorers, as Vardy leads with 17 goals this season and Aguero ranks second with 16 goals. Arlo White and Graeme Le Saux will call the match from King Power Stadium.
Today at 2:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN televises the rescheduled Manchester City-West Ham match, which was postponed from Feb. 9 due to weather. Coverage begins with Premier League Live at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
This weekend’s coverage begins on Saturday with Premier League Mornings at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by a key matchup between two clubs fighting for a top-four spot as fourth-place Chelsea host fifth-place Tottenham at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN & Universo. With 41 points, Chelsea enter the weekend one point ahead of Spurs (40). Tottenham beat Aston Villa, 3-2, on Sunday behind an injury-time winner from Heung-Min Son, while Chelsea look to rebound from a 2-0 loss to Manchester United.
Then, at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo, sixth-place Sheffield United, who are two points outside of the top-four, host Brighton & Hove Albion.
Match coverage continues on Sunday, Feb. 23, when Manchester United face Watford at 9 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Telemundo. Also at 9 a.m. ET, Wolverhampton Wanderers host Norwich City on CNBC. At 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Telemundo, Everton visit Arsenal at Emirates Stadium. White and Le Saux will call the match.
The weekend’s coverage concludes on Monday, Feb. 24, when Mohamed Salah and first-place Liverpool host West Ham. Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 43 PL matches and sit 25 points ahead of second-place Manchester City as they aim for their first-ever PL title.
