Manchester Derby Highlight of NBC Sports EPL Coverage

One of modern football’s biggest rivalry’s, the Manchester Derby, will air live this weekend on NBC Sports.

NBC Sports’ coverage of the Premier League continues this weekend, highlighted by Kevin De Bruyne and second-place Manchester City visiting arch-rivals and fifth-place Manchester United in the Manchester Derby this Sunday, March 8 at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Telemundo.

Sunday’s match marks the 182nd meeting between the clubs. United won the first Premier League meeting this season at the Etihad in December, while Man City knocked their rivals out of the two-legged EFL Cup Semi-Final in January. On Sunday, City won their third straight League Cup after a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa. From Old Trafford, play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls the match, joined by analysts Lee Dixon and Graeme Le Saux.

This weekend’s Premier League coverage kicks off this Saturday, March 7, with Premier League Mornings at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by Mohamed Salah and first-place Liverpool hosting Bournemouth at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo. Liverpool is looking to bounce back after last weekend’s loss at Watford marked the end of the Reds’ 44-match unbeaten run and record-tying 18-match winning streak in the league. White and Le Saux will call the match.

Coverage continues at 10 a.m. ET as Arsenal hosts West Ham on NBCSN and Wolverhampton Wanderers v. Brighton & Hove Albion air on CNBC and Universo, followed by seventh-place Tottenham visiting Burnley at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo.

A two-hour Premier League Mornings begins Sunday’s coverage at 8 a.m. ET, followed by fourth-place Chelsea hosting Everton at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Coverage concludes at 4 p.m. ET on Monday, March 9 with third-place Leicester City hosting Aston Villa on NBCSN. Led by the Premier League’s joint-leading scorer Jamie Vardy (17 goals this season; tied with Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang), the Foxes’ look to bounce back after back-to-back losses against Norwich City and Manchester City.

NBC Sports Gold also presents exclusive live coverage of three Saturday matches at 10 a.m. ET – Crystal Palace v. Watford, Sheffield United v. Norwich City, and Southampton v. Newcastle.

Rebecca Lowe and Ahmed Fareed (Monday) host Goal Zone, Premier League Mornings, and Premier League Live, joined by former Jamaica National Team player Robbie Earle and former USMNT player Kyle Martino.
