Univision New York has announced the launch of “Amigos De Univision” in partnership with the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey.

This half-hour weekly program will help educate and empower the fastest-growing demographic in the Tristate Area: Hispanic small business owners. Hosted by Brea Frank, this weekly special will air on Sundays from 7:30am-8am ET on UniMás 68 and across Univision New York’s digital platforms.

“Amigos de Univision” will also include on-air contributions from Carlos Medina, Esq., President of the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, and Luis de La Hoz, President of the Executive Board to the Chamber.

Both Medina and De La Hoz bring decades of experience as successful entrepreneurs to the program. A preview of “Amigos de Univision” can be viewed here.

“For over fifty years, Latinos in the greater New York Metro Area have trusted Univision New York to provide them with the news and resources they need for their families and businesses to thrive. As area residents shelter in place, “Amigos de Univision” was created to help small business owners, who are the backbone of our communities, weather the economic challenges they’re facing today so they are prepared to thrive when we get through this crisis,” said Roberto Yañez, President and General Manager of Univision New York.

“Through this exclusive partnership with the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey to provide our audience with on-air training, education and support, we hope to support the over 40% of Hispanic small business owners in the Tri-State area who provide more than $31 billion in local economic stimulus.”
