“To be bestowed with the Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence in the competitive Fresno market is a true testament to the talent, passion and integrity of our news team,” said Vladimir Ayala, news director, Univision Fresno.
“I am honoured that our efforts to inform and empower Latinos in our area have been recognised by the Radio Television Digital News Association, and we look forward to continuing to provide Latinos in Central California with the news and resources they need during this unprecedented time.”
The Radio Television Digital News Association has been honouring outstanding achievements in electronic journalism with the Edward R. Murrow Awards since 1971.
