NBC Sports will air live coverage of the remainder of the 2020 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season, beginning on Sunday, May 31st, on NBC and NBCSN at 3pm ET.
All seven races will take place at Rice–Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, and will be shown live across NBC, NBCSN, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, and NBC Sports Gold – NBC Sports Digital’s direct-to-consumer live streaming product.
Veteran play-by-play commentator Ralph Sheheen, five-time Supercross champion and seven-time Motocross champion Ricky Carmichael, host and former racer Daniel Blair, and reporter Will Christien will call the remaining seven races.
Eli Tomac is currently atop the 450SX Class championship standings with 226 points, trailed closely by Ken Roczen (223 points) and reigning Supercross Champion Cooper Webb (197 points). In the 250SX East Class, Chase Sexton leads Shane McElrath by 10 points.
On Wednesday, Roczen was a guest on Lunch Talk Live on NBCSN hosted by Mike Tirico, where he discussed a potential resumption of the 2020 season.
Roczen on the return to racing: “When we start back up racing, there’s going to be a lot of racing all in a row … with little time off … I am definitely ready whenever we are ready to go.”
The inaugural Monster Energy Supercross E SX event, presented by Toyota, will air tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The event features 14 riders competing in the 450SX Class and 250SX Class at virtual Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. in Monster Energy Supercross – Official Video Game 3.
