TBS have confirmed that Sunday’s match-up between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Tampa Bay Rays will replace the postponed subway-series game between the Yankees and the Mets.
MLB on TBS will feature a full national telecast between American League East rivals – the Toronto Blue Jays and young slugger Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. vs. the division-leading Tampa Bay Rays and Brandon Lowe, the AL leader in OPS – this Sunday, August 23rd at 1pm ET.
Blue Jays/Rays will replace the previously announced Yankees/Mets matchup.
The network’s regular season coverage will feature a Sunday afternoon game telecast each week.
TBS will showcase one of this year’s American League Wild Card series and serve as the exclusive home of both of the 2020 American League Division Series, and the 2020 American League Championship Series.
