BBC Two Wales to Air Norway Vs Wales Live

BBC Two Wales

Wales take on Norway as the squad resumes their bid to qualify for the European Championships with BBC Two Wales broadcasting all the action live from Oslo from 4.45pm, Tuesday.

Presenter Catrin Heledd will be broadcasting from BBC Wales’ new headquarters in Cardiff, where she’ll be joined by guests including former Wales internationals Nia Jones and Jo Price in the studio, as well as current international Megan Wynne, who will offer her expertise via Zoom.

Simon Davies will provide commentary of the action alongside former Wales international Gwennan Harries.

“It’s been a long wait for Jayne Ludlow and her squad but at last their Euros dream continues,” says Catrin Heledd. “There won’t be a red wall in Norway to support the team but hopefully fans will join us on BBC Wales to watch the action and get behind the girls!

“And this will be the first live TV sports broadcast from our new home at Central Square. I can’t think of a better game to kick off this exciting new chapter!”

Wales currently sit second in the qualifying table, four points behind group leaders Norway, with four games remaining. This game was due to be both teams’ final fixture of the qualifying campaign.

However, due to the postponements in the wake of Covid-19, the group stages will now continue into December, with UEFA previously confirming the postponement of the Women’s European Championships until July 2022.

There will be additional coverage of the game, which kicks off at 5pm Tuesday, across radio and online. BBC Radio Wales Sport will have live commentary on Medium Wave with Mark Poyser and Katie Sherwood commentating, whilst BBC Cymru Fyw will provide a live stream on their website.

There will also be a live stream on the BBC Sport Wales website, plus the game will be available on BBC iPlayer and the Red Button.
