Six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and the NFC South first-place Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-2) visit Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders (3-2) this week on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
The game marks NBC’s Sunday Night Football’s first trip to the new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev.
Coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET with Football Night in America on NBC, followed by kickoff at 8:20 p.m. ET from Allegiant Stadium.
The Buccaneers and Raiders will meet for the 10th time, with the Raiders holding a 7-2 series advantage. Las Vegas head coach Jon Gruden previously coached the Raiders from 1998-2001 and the Buccaneers from 2002-08.
In his first season with Tampa Bay, Gruden led the Bucs to a Super Bowl XXXVII victory over his former Raiders team.
Brady and Gruden rekindle a rivalry that dates back 19 years to the 2001 Divisional playoffs, when Brady’s Patriots won a 16-13 overtime thriller over Gruden’s Oakland Raiders.
That game is known for the ‘tuck rule,’ which was used by instant replay to overturn a late fourth-quarter Brady fumble. The Patriots tied the game with a field goal later on that drive.
Calling Buccaneers-Raiders is Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his record 35th season as the voice of the NFL’s premier primetime package; 16-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth; and three-time Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
Three-time Super Bowl referee Terry McAulay is the Sunday Night Football rules analyst.

Tampa Bay topped Green Bay, 38-10, last week, handing the previously 4-0 Packers their first loss of the season, while the Raiders, who had a bye in Week 6, defeated the then-4-0 Chiefs in Week 5, 40-32. Sunday’s game marks the first time teams enter a Sunday Night Football matchup having beaten a team that was 4-0 or better in the previous game.
Mike Tirico will host Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET alongside Hall of Fame head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl champion Rodney Harrison, former NFL quarterback Chris Simms, and NFL Insider Mike Florio. Liam McHugh will co-host FNIA on-site from Allegiant Stadium.
