Hours after having it’s popular YouTube account terminated, TalkRADIO is now back on the video streaming platform.
Earlier on Tuesday, TalkRADIO’s YouTube channel was terminated by YouTube – one of the station’s major outlets.
The channel was used to stream live the output of the station, and archive broadcasts.
As of 19:15 GMT on Tuesday, TalkRADIO’s account on YouTube has been restored, along with all of its content.
YouTube said that it had re-instated the channel after it had conducted “a further review”, following what it considered to be breaches of it’s Covid-19 guidelines.
For most of Tuesday, TalkRADIO’s YouTube page displayed a simple message saying; “This account has been terminated for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines.”
YouTube said in a statement; “talkRADIO’s YouTube channel as briefly suspended, but upon further review, has now been reinstated.
“We quickly remove flagged content that violate our Community Guidelines, including Covid-19 content that explicitly contradict expert consensus from local health authorities or the World Health Organization.
“We make exceptions for material posted with an educational, documentary, scientific or artistic purpose, as was deemed in this case.”
