BBC Wales will celebrate the excitement of the nation as Wales line up at Euro 2020 – their first consecutive Euro finals tournament.
On TV, radio and on digital platforms – in English and in Welsh – BBC Wales will bring audiences all the action, expertise and analysis as Wales competes in the Championship.
TV
Network TV coverage of the Wales games will be presented by Gabby Logan. Gabby is joined by Steve Wilson and Robbie Savage on the commentary team with studio guests including Ashley Williams and Mark Hughes. BBC Wales will also produce live broadcasts of all of Wales’ matches for S4C – presented by Catrin Heledd, Dylan Ebenezer, Nic Parri and Gwennan Harries.
The build up to the competition on BBC Wales will feature stand-up comedian, radio presenter and huge Wales football fan, Elis James, as he presents Football Nation, a television series covering the highs and lows of Welsh football from the 1800s to today. Elis will revisit memories such as the story of Britain’s first soccer super star, Welshman Billy Meredith, Wales’ first and only World Cup appearance in the 50s and the story of the last Euros in 2016.
Gabby Logan and celebrity guests take an entertaining look at Euro 2020 in a one off special programme ahead of Wales’ three Group Stage Matches.
And for the very first time, the BBC Wales football podcast Elis James’ Feast of Football makes its way to television. The multiplatform series will see Elis and guests previewing the tournament and reviewing all the action following each game.

On game day, live coverage will be delivered by Ian Hunt, Rob Phillips and Nathan Blake with guests Tash Harding and Kevin Ratcliffe.
Get ready for the games with Ashley Williams’ Euros Breakfast – the 2016 Wales captain takes your calls every week. And fresh from winning his 100th cap, Wales player Chris Gunter will be choosing the tunes building up to the games in Chris Gunter’s Playlist
The Red Wall of Cymru will offer exclusive behind the scenes access following the Alarm’s Mike Peters producing the official FAW (Football Association of Wales) song for the tournament. The song will be played for the first time on BBC Radio Wales.

BBC Radio Cymru’s team at the live matches will be Owain Llyr, Dylan Griffiths, Iwan Roberts and guest Tash Harding.
As part of the station’s build-up to the tournament, a special Radio Cymru anthem has been recorded by vocalist Yws Gwynedd. The track follows in the footsteps of the iconic Rhedeg i Paris recorded in advance of Euro 2016 by Welsh super-group Candelas. And Ifan Evans’ programme will host a user-generated online campaign, inviting listeners to submit photos of themselves wearing red to create a mosaic of a red dragon to form the cover of the new track by Yws Gwynedd.
Presenters, Shelley and Rhydian will be providing match build-up ahead of the first game. Ifan Evans will be looking ahead to the second game and Trystan and Emma for the last of the group matches. Carl Roberts will be joining the programmes live from various locations.
Comedian and presenter Tudur Owen presents a very special programme looking back at Wales’ journey to Euro 2016 and onwards to this year’s competition. Scripted by Manon Steffan Ros, the music is courtesy of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, along with archive commentary and fans’ memories.
Wales International goalkeeper and artist Owain Fon Williams will be a guest on Beti a’i Phobol with Beti George looking back on his life and his achievements to date.
Both BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio Wales have joined forces with the Football Association of Wales and Literature Wales for their Welsh Literature Poetry competition. Judges Gruffudd Owen and Kizzy Crawford will be interviewed, as well as the eventual winner, with the winning poem broadcast on both stations.
And Radio Cymru 2 will be the go-to station for fans looking to get in the mood before the games with great tracks and chat.

The BBC Sport Wales website will provide live updates and stories from the Wales camp. There will be a live pages of each Wales game as well as a live text page during all of Wales’ daily press conferences, along with daily video content from the team in Baku and Rome.
Cymru Fyw
All the latest news, on and off the field, will also be available on the BBC Cymru Fyw website and app. And Podlediad Cymru Fyw will also reflect stories from the tournament.
