The News with Shepard Smith anchor announces on his CNBC show that he has tested positive for Covid-19, whilst presenting from home studio.
Smith, who made the announcement on Wednesday during his programme, interviewed anaesthesiologist Dr Robby Sikka about Covid-19 testing, and his symptoms.
Smith said that he had visited a doctor after feeling unwell, and suffering from some of the effects of Covid-19, only to be told that he had tested negative.
However, using a self-test throat swab, the result was positive.
