CNN’s Pamela Brown Joins Covid-19 Positive Test List

CNN presenter Pamela Brown

CNN presenter Pamela Brown confirmed on Saturday that she has tested positive for Covid-19, and will miss her shows on the network this weekend.

Brown, who anchors the weekend edition of CNN Newsroom between 6pm-9pm ET, tweeted the news and confirming that CNN Senior White House correspondent, Phil Mattingly would be sitting in for her.

In her tweet, she said; “Tested positive on rapid covid test. At first it was a scratchy throat so I took test as a precaution.

“Now I feel flu like. If this is ‘mild’ I don’t want to know what it would be like if I wasn’t tripled vaxxed.

“Thanks to @Phil_Mattingly for pinch hitting on my show tonight!”

Mattingly responded in kind, by tweeting; “hey folks, coming out of the bullpen for my pal @PamelaBrownCNN from 6-9pm tonight and need your help.”

Pamela Brown joins a growing list of on-air presenters and personalities who have tested positive for Covid-19 in recent weeks.
