KISS Breakfast to be Sponsored by Channel 4

KISS

Channel 4 has become the new sponsor of KISS Breakfast, marking a first for the broadcaster with Bauer Media’s radio station.

This multi-year partnership began on 27th January. It will feature various Channel 4 promotions. These include trail ads and credits throughout the station’s programming.

Listeners can expect to see three 10-second credits every hour during KISS Breakfast. It airs from 6am to 10am, Monday to Friday.

There will also be online ads that can change according to Channel 4’s marketing needs. These ads will highlight shows from its archive. They will also feature new content that reflects its brand message of ‘Altogether Different.’ This phrase captures Channel 4’s commitment to showcasing diversity in the UK.

KISS plays the biggest hits in Dance and R&B. Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely from the dance group Diversity host the breakfast show.

The duo will share their thoughts on Channel 4 shows they’ve been watching. They will also talk about what they are excited to see each Friday. They will also be featured in some promotional ads and a launch campaign on social media.

Iain Walters, Head of Marketing, Channel 4 said: “We’re excited to team up with Jordan and Perri on KISS Breakfast. Every morning they’ll bring their listeners recommendations for what to watch or stream from Channel 4’s brilliant lineup of new and library content in their unique and entertaining style.

“Just like our own audience, KISS Breakfast listeners are young, keenly interested in current trends and always looking for great entertainment. We’re sure they’ll love hearing all the new content, recommendations and surprises we’re cooking up together.”

Jordan and Perri, Presenters of KISS Breakfast added: “Our KISS Breakfast listeners and Celebrity Gogglebox viewers know how much we love a bit of telly, so we can’t wait to work with Channel 4 to wake up the nation every weekday with the best vibes, energy and our top TV picks!”

This sponsorship deal was arranged with the help of OMD Create agency. It builds on an earlier collaboration between Channel 4 and KISS. This collaboration included the “The Great KISS Breakfast Bake Off” campaign in October 2024. This campaign promoted Season 15 of the well-loved show, The Great British Bake Off.
