5.2 Million Tune in to ITV1’s England Vs Ireland 6 Nations Coverage

ITV1’s broadcast of the Ireland vs. England 6 nations match on Saturday attracted 5.2 million viewers at its peak, making it the channel’s highest overnight audience this year.

The average viewership for the match across all platforms was 3.6 million, with 4.4 million tuning in on TV alone. On Friday, the opening match between France and Wales peaked at 3.8 million viewers.

Overall, the two matches available on ITV this weekend have been streamed 3.7 million times on ITVX.

ITV Sports will continue its coverage of the Guinness Men’s 6 Nations Championship 2025 this Saturday. On 8th February, they will feature Italy vs. Wales at 1:30 PM, followed by England vs. France at 4:15 PM on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coverage will be hosted by Mark Pougatch and Jill Douglas for ten live matches on ITV1 and ITVX. Matches will also be available on STV, STV Player, and UTV.

This weekend’s coverage of the Guinness Men’s 6 Nations Championship will provide over 25 hours of live sports on ITV. It will run from Thursday 6th February to Tuesday 11th February. The coverage will feature nine events in total.
