Eutelsat Group has partnered with Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) to launch satellite services in Nigeria.
Together, they have launched a major multi-year agreement worth millions. This collaboration will provide low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite services across Nigeria.
Through this partnership, NIGCOMSAT will become Nigeria’s top satellite service provider. They will use the OneWeb LEO network to offer fast and reliable internet.
These services will benefit various sectors. This includes government, businesses, and remote rural communities. They will facilitate important functions like remote communication and mobile connectivity.
NIGCOMSAT’s Managing Director and CEO, Jane Nkechi Egerton-Idehen, expressed her excitement. She is looking forward to working closely with Eutelsat. Eutelsat is a leading name in satellite technology.
