Paris Saint-Germain is pushing boundaries by providing innovative experiences for its fans.
The club proudly announces a new immersive room on Xtadium, the top platform for immersive sports, in collaboration with beIN SPORTS, the official Ligue 1 broadcaster in the U.S. This initiative, available only in the U.S. for the pilot phase, brings PSG matches to life in virtual reality. It offers fans an exciting new way to enjoy live soccer, enhanced by beIN SPORTS in North America.
With this launch, PSG becomes the first European club to offer such an experience, solidifying its role as a leader in modern football.
For the first time, PSG fans can watch three live matches from the 2024/25 Ligue 1 season in VR. They can experience the action as if they were right on the sidelines at Parc des Princes. This distinctive experience places supporters in the heart of the game, allowing them to feel every moment from a different vantage point.
In addition to live matches, the immersive room will showcase 2D highlights from PSG’s home games, allowing fans to revisit key moments. Soon, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, including training sessions, celebrations, and interviews, will be available, offering an inside look at the club and a closer connection with the players.
Jerry Newman, Chief Innovation and Digital Officer at Paris Saint-Germain, stated that innovation is central to PSG’s identity. He expressed pride in being the first European club to provide this immersive experience, bringing live Ligue 1 matches in VR to U.S. fans. This partnership with Xtadium and beIN SPORTS connects U.S. fans more closely to the excitement of PSG’s major matches.

He emphasized beIN’s long-standing support for French football and its commitment to offering this special experience for both new and existing Ligue 1 fans. The immersive experience will showcase pitch-side action while enhancing beIN’s dedication to innovation and top-notch coverage in North America.
