Max is launching a new navigation menu to enhance the browsing experience for users on connected TV devices worldwide.
In the U.S., for adult profiles, the updated menu changes the layout. The Home, Series, and Movies sections move from the top of the page. HBO, B/R Sports, and CNN Max sections also move to the left side utility menu.
This menu already includes features like Search, My Stuff, Settings, and Profiles. The global user interface update will be slightly adjusted for different regions. These adjustments are based on local preferences. This update follows successful trials in Latin America.
It will roll out gradually, starting with a small group of users and expanding over time.
The update adds a new section called “What’s New.” This section highlights recently added content. It also shows what will be available soon or what will be leaving soon.
Another feature, “Categories,” allows users to browse titles by genre, brand, and thematic collections.
These enhancements aim to make it easier for users to navigate Max’s extensive content library. They help users manage their preferences. Additionally, these improvements provide more space for content previews at the top of the homepage.
