Established in 2024, Samphire Films focuses on creating top-tier unscripted content for audiences in both the UK and the USA. Sophie is known for her work on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. David is a former commissioning editor for BBC Documentaries. They are dedicated to blending originality with high-quality production. They are currently working on a range of large-scale factual formats and premium documentaries.

This collaboration aligns with BBC Studios’ strategy to invest in talented creatives. It enhances its existing portfolio. The portfolio includes renowned companies like House Productions and Sid Gentle Films. BBC Studios will help Samphire through this partnership. Samphire aims to develop exceptional documentary and factual programming. BBC Studios will manage the global distribution and format rights.
