Jake Tapper, CNN Anchor and Chief Washington Correspondent, returns for the second season of the popular series United States of Scandal.

This show, produced by The Intellectual Property Corporation, part of Sony Pictures Television, will debut on Sunday, March 9, at 9pm ET/PT, and will continue airing weekly at the same time.

In six engaging episodes, Tapper interviews key figures involved in some of America’s most shocking controversies, as well as the courageous whistleblowers who stood against corruption. This season expands beyond politics to explore major scandals in corporate America, sports, and pop culture.

Tapper expressed his excitement about revisiting these famous scandals, saying it was a great opportunity to investigate stories that shaped his life, including ABSCAM and Enron. He is eager to dig deeper into these events, going beyond the headlines to uncover new information.

This season includes a discussion with Anita Hill about her accusations against Clarence Thomas during his Supreme Court nomination. Tapper also looks into Jack Abramoff’s corrupt practices, interviewing former congressman Bob Ney, who served time in prison for his involvement. Additionally, he revisits the ABSCAM sting operation with former Senator Larry Pressler, who managed to avoid being caught up in the scheme.

Outside of political matters, Tapper confronts celebrity scam artist Anna Delvey and reveals the true story behind Lance Armstrong’s fall from grace through his former teammate Floyd Landis. He also speaks with Sherron Watkins, a whistleblower known for exposing the Enron scandal, which became one of the largest corporate frauds in American history.

Tapper aims to provide a broader understanding of these events and what they taught society.

According to Amy Entelis, Executive Vice President for Talent & Content Development at CNN, audiences enjoyed the show’s insightful approach to once sensational stories. This season, Tapper’s curiosity and knowledge will reveal scandals still affecting major institutions in America today.

United States of Scandal is produced by Aaron Saidman and Eli Holzman for IPC, with Jake Tapper as host, Meaghan Rady as showrunner, and contributions from Amy Entelis, Lyle Gamm, and Katie Hinman at CNN.

The series will stream live for pay TV subscribers via CNN.com and connected apps on March 9, and will be available on demand starting March 10.
