Sam Felix Joins CNN as SVP of Strategic Partnerships

Sam Felix has been appointed as CNN Worldwide’s new SVP of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development.

Sam Felix has been appointed as CNN Worldwide’s new SVP of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development.

Felix will forge strategic partnerships with tech firms and industry leaders. She will also develop relationships with trade groups. Felix is tasked with CNN’s global AI strategy.

She’ll pinpoint AI services to boost CNN’s growth. Felix reports to David Leavy, CNN Worldwide’s Chief Operating Officer.

Felix brings 15+ years of experience in partnerships and audience strategy. She joins CNN from The New York Times. There, she led strategy with tech platforms. She also crafted their AI approach. Plus, Felix fostered vital industry connections.

Before The Times, Felix held roles at Thrive, Mic, Thrillist, and Meta. Her background includes editorial and audience engagement. She earned both an MA and a BA from Chapman University.

Sam Felix will work from CNN’s New York office.
